Meringue Smooches!

I was cleaning my picture folders on my laptop then I saw this file of photos I took last December. Yes! This bunch of photos are so last year and I realized that I haven’t uploaded them online. I believe they do deserve to be posted here in my blog. Also I’ve been silent for months and I thought this set of yummy flowers could be an awesome comeback post.

The photos below remind me of Lemon Meringue! *drool*

Just a little background about these flowery photos. You can experience the awesomeness of this lovely Rose Garden at Rose Hills Memorial Park  in Whittier California. Yes, you read it right sweetie. It’s in a cemetery. As far as I know Rose Hills is the largest cemetery in United States.. Anyhoo, I’ve got the chance to see this garden for the second time after accompanying my brother bear and sister-in-law to Los Angeles International Airport. They spent holidays with us here in California and went back to New Jersey after Christmas. Whittier is I think about 28 miles away from LAX.

Does anyone of you tried Berry Meringue?..

Honestly, visiting the place was not really in our plan. But deep inside of me, I’m wishing and hoping and thinking and praying (Oh wait! This phrase reminds me my Best Friend’s Wedding! Tee-hee! The movie and its soundtracks are really awesome! ♥ If you haven’t heard the Wishing and Hoping song , just click here to listen. :) ) that we can stop by even just for a few minutes, because the first time I went here my camera’s battery shut down after 5 minutes of clicking. I know.. Sooo boooo! And that was fantastically an answered prayer! Yay! We spent almost 1 and half hour of our time before going back home. :D

If these flowers are real Multicolored Meringue, they’re truthfully enticing!

Good thing my camera is always with me. Having my camera in my bag is actually part of my going out routine. I don’t mind the heaviness it gives on my shoulders. As long as I can snap the shutter and enjoy every beautiful shots, the pain will eventually subsides. Happiness versus physical pain, the former definitely outweighed the latter!

Looking at these pictures really makes me drool. I feel like I’m looking at those yummy and sweet meringue! Arrggh! Oh how I really love sweets! :-)~

These peach flowers look like the decorative flowers on top of a mouth-watering cake!

I really enjoyed walking around and taking photos inside this Rose Garden, not only because entering the premises is free, but everytime  I come back, the place always amaze me. Always have something new to see and discover.

These last five floweret shots I could say are my favorites! :)

I have no idea how the the garden looks like during spring and summer. The first time  I  got the chance to witness the beauty of those flowers was fall season and the second time was winter. But one thing I’m absolutely sure about it is that once you see those flowers  dance and wave at you, your heart will definitely melt and will bring so much joy and peace of mind in you. I wish I can visit Rose Garden again soon!

If you haven’t seen the place and you’re around the area, I’m begging you to please visit the garden. Especially if you’re a nature lover and love taking photos, this place can positively inspire you.

So what are you waiting for? Get your keys, grab your camera, buckle your seat belt and experience the alluring beauty of roses!

I hope you guys appreciate my post for today. And I’m wishing I’ve inspired you or at least brighten up your day with this blog post.

Stay awesome munchkins! Toodle!

A Lesson From A Little Girl..

I saw this cute little girl playing in the grass alone. Enjoying a very peaceful day. Engulfing the awesomeness of life. I really want to move a bit closer but I’m afraid that if she sees me, she might feel anxious and run away.

But still, watching her from afar really gave me an overwhelming kind of happiness.

I didn’t appreciate how beautiful the day was, until I saw her playing. Alone, but you can see an overflowing satisfaction.

This pretty princess made me realize that in spite of all the dramas, problems, troubles and unanswered prayers we still should have a positive outlook about life.

That we should savor every millisecond of it like a little girl who doesn’t have any crappy perspective about everything around her.

It doesn’t mean just because we are alone we should look like a loser, instead being alone means having the opportunity to see the beauty of everything around you and appreciating their existence.

Good job little princess!

When I was a Little Girl..

“All during my teens and early twenties I wanted to be a rock star.

The fact that I can’t play a musical instrument or carry a tune did nothing to diminish the fantasy.

During my more realistic moments I wanted to be a rock star’s girlfriend.”

—  Janet Evanovich

A rock star shoot with my cousin Kakoi..

Awesomeness Overload: CLASSIC!

“I’m not trying to be new school and I’m not old school

– I’m classic.

There’s a lot of new cars and there’s a lot of old cars,

but I’m just classic in doing what I do.”

— LL Cool J

Vintage car parade is bloody awesome!

A Maxi Chihuahua

“My ears are too beeg for my head.

My head ees too beeg for my body.

I am not a Siamese cat …

— Judy Schachner

A super dee duper fun night with my favorite guy Gabby and his favorite toy, Maxi!..

Yes he named his Chihuahua MAXIMUS!

I really believe he should be called MINIMUS NOT MAXIMUS!  :D

My Vices Can’t Kill You!

“To love a woman for her virtues is meaningless.

She’s earned it, it’s a payment, not a gift.

But to love her for her vices is a real gift, unearned and undeserved.

To love her for her vices is to defile all virtue for her sake –

and that is a real tribute of love,

because you sacrifice your conscience, your reason, your integrity

and your invaluable self-esteem.”

— Ayn Rand

These are my vices that will definitely not kill you but will make you experience a life full of awesomeness!!
